How I use them: I’ve been mostly using these products as bases for other eyeshadows. I find that milk helps lighter colors show up on the lids or inner corner and that black bean helps darker colors appear more deep and intensifies any shimmer that they have.
Pros: They are highly pigmented and show up true to color. They provide a sticky base, so eyeshadows and glitters adhere to them well.
Cons: They never completely dry down, so they crease. I don’t have particularly oily eyelids, I normally use these with an eyeshadow base and with a powder eyeshadow over them and the pencils still crease. I would suggest only using these on your lid or browbone. Another con is that you have to sharpen these (i wish they were twist up).
Overall I think that these work well, but they are limited in what they can do because they crease so much. They’re nice, but I’m not going to go out and buy all of them.
Have you tried the jumbo pencils? What are your thoughts? Did they crease on you as well?
I hope you’re all having a fantastic day!
